Amethyst stone, wirewrapped.

I felt very creative this afternoon as the snow is falling heavily outside and the snow banks are getting higher by the minute.

I decided to wrap some of my gorgeous stones and this is the result of this afternoon's work.  I will be turning it into a necklace made of  Swarovski amethyst and pearls perhaps tomorrow.

This lovely stone is wrapped with non-tarnish silver wire.  Its stem parts are with Swarovski Amethyst crystals

This is shown against a white background.

This is my protype and it is still a work in progress.  Tomorrow, if I am still snowed in, I will do the necklace part of it which will be with Amethyst and pearls from Swarovski.

I will post it once it is all finished.

THIS ITEM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE - SOLD.  If you are interested, please contact me at wseville7@gmail.com      It will not be exactly the same but will be unique as this one was.

Something I made for me.

I took a new picture of it with my new camera.  I think perhaps it is more clear now.

Wirewrapped pendant with green seedbeads.  Necklace part is pearls and green seedbeads.

I wear this protype often as it goes with many different outfits.  It is not for sale.

I love this necklace but it took hours and hours to make.

I took some of my creations in to Arts Hamilton today.  Should you be in the market for children's jewellery, or jewellery for adults, please feel free to drop in to Arts Hamilton on King Street East (near Wellington).

They are also open on Saturdays until 5 p.m.

Children's jewellery

I was asked to consider making children's jewellery a few months ago, and today my son came by and happened to mention that a young mother is having difficulty in finding good quality jewellery for her young daughter.

She does not like the gaudy stuff sold at the dollar store as she wants it to be kept as a keepsake later on.

That was confirmation for me to start a new children's line.

I will be selling some of my children's jewellery at Arts Hamilton, which is located near Wellington and King Street East in Hamilton, Ontario.  I also hope to have the time to make some for my jewellery party which I plan to have in the Spring.

Thanks for reading my blog. I love this idea.  As a former day care teacher, I always enjoyed working with children and marrying two loves together is ideal!  (Jewellery and children).

Have a great day!

If any of my readers is interested in children's jewellery, please feel free to drop me a line at wseville7@gmail.com

The Rebirth of Long-Form Journalism — Great Writing — Utne Reader

The Rebirth of Long-Form Journalism — Great Writing — Utne Reader

Where you can see my jewellery

Arts Hamilton, King Street East close to Wellington, is where I have my jewellery displayed.  I shall be bringing in some new designs in the near future.  It is also my hope to have a jewellery party in the Spring which will have entertainment as well.

I also advertise in Perspectives Magazine which is both an on-line publication and available in hard copy.

I also do custom design, upon request.

Some of my customers have had custom design pieces done and it gives me great pleasure to see them wearing my designs.

Thanks for dropping by and have a great day!
