My own Tourquoise Swarovski gems in my design

I really think this is so delicate and so beautiful that I could not resist keeping it for myself.  With handcrafted jewellery, each one may come out a little different.  If you are interested, I could try and duplicate it.

It makes one feel like a queen.  Silver plated chain, silver plated wire and Swarowski crystals. Delicate and so feminine.

Arts Hamilton no longer features artists' work so I will be selling through the internet and perhaps home parties. 

I discovered something interesting on the internet tonight.  Some of the copper jewellery I had at Arts Hamilton had tarnished so I wanted to make my own polish.  It worked so well that I am amazed.

It is a combination of 1/4 cup lemon juice and about the same of salt.  Put the copper jewellery in the solution which could be a jar or tight fitting container.  Shake, shake, shake, then immediately take it out and wash it with water and blot it dry.

Note how well the homemade polish worked.  It was very tarnished before.  The jewel is Swarovski topaz.

Emerald firepolish beads with copper rondelles and copper chain - fits over the head.

The results of the lemon juice and salt were amazing. It was easy to make at home with ingredients that you would have at home and works like a charm!  The trick is not to leave the jewellery in the solution after the three or four shakes.  This mixture can be saved and used again and again.

A new way to display earrings

I decided to try an idea out for displaying my Swarovski crystal handcrafted earrings.

I think it works very well.  The cards stand up without problems and my business name is on it.  I will write the name of the crystals on the back of the card.

A special order

Hello everybody,

I have been so busy with my writing and getting it published, that I haven't been doing any jewellery work at all lately.

However, today I had a special order for a friend and made her these Swarovski crystals earrings with sterling silver earwires.

The design is unusual.  It has four  pink and crystal jewels on the bottom loop and two just below the ear wire.

I hope she likes them as they are fancier than she usually wears.  If not, then I will make her some others which are more plain.

Bugs anybody?

I had this beautiful round stone with white marks on it and my creative mind went to work to see what I could make it into.  The name of the stone is Mossy Agate and it is a semi-precious stone.  It has a very interesting and different look to it.

I used black wire and also white wire, firepolish jet black beads as well as crystals.  The result is what looks like a bug to me.

I suspect everybody will look at it and see something different but this is the interesting part to see what others see in it.
