She told me the colours of the Swarovski crystals that she wanted and I made two designs for her to choose from.

She chose the less traditional one which was also very beautiful. It is the one to the left. I liked both.

Window Hangings

To hang in a window

To hang in a window - will sparkle when light hits it.

I was visiting a close friend many years ago and saw a beautiful window hanging at her place and determined that one day, I would get one for myself which I did.

Later on, I began to think, why not make one myself - so I did! Then I determined that those would make nice little hostess gifts so when I was invited for dinner yesterday, I brought two handcrafted ones I made for my hostess.

Each one has a little loop where those rubber hanging hooks can go through. One is in tourquoise and the other in yellow, more sparkly beads.

When I have time and the artistic spirit moves in me, I shall make some more as hostess gifts.

Had quite a surprise today

I went to have my watch battery changed and while I was waiting, I looked at a nice over the head beaded jewelry set. Earrings and necklace - both lovely and well made.

Out of curiosity, I asked the price and was told it was $300.00 plus tax. He said it was on sale right now at half price and he figured it out that with the tax it would come to $198.00.

It was a very nice set but it wasn't even Swarovski crystals!

My latest design

This is a custom design order done for a dear friend. Czech Firepolish beads jet black, 8mm size, with another shimmering Czech bead to highlight it.

Very pretty and will look lovely on her black outfits. We had great fun picking out the beads the other day.
