I discovered something interesting on the internet tonight. Some of the copper jewellery I had at Arts Hamilton had tarnished so I wanted to make my own polish. It worked so well that I am amazed.
It is a combination of 1/4 cup lemon juice and about the same of salt. Put the copper jewellery in the solution which could be a jar or tight fitting container. Shake, shake, shake, then immediately take it out and wash it with water and blot it dry.
Note how well the homemade polish worked. It was very tarnished before. The jewel is Swarovski topaz. |
Emerald firepolish beads with copper rondelles and copper chain - fits over the head. |
Here are some more pictures of a more tradition look which is classic. They are sets.
Bohemian stones, matching pierced earrings (can be made into clip-on earrings as well. |
Black Bohemian and crystal Bohemian beads with dangle. Black earrings go with this. |
I will be updating this blog with more designs when I have the time.
Come back again for a visit!
